At the beginning of its foundation 37 years ago, publications were mostly art books, making a light approach to history. Since 1997, the publications are almost entirely history books.
Its main collections are: Serie Historia, which accounts countries, people and events, in an informative way; Claves Históricas; Sílex Universidad, in collaboration with various universities, Serie Historia Contemporánea, Medieval y Moderna, Historia de España in five volumes as well as Periodismo Histórico.

There is also an important dedication to museums, to the Art, the cities of Madrid, and Cadiz, as well as Literature.
